COMMENCEMENT 2022 PROGRAM
This year’s Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Palazzo Congressi in Lugano on Saturday 14th May.

University Day
Scheduled events include a meeting for Graduating Seniors (Bachelor’s degree only) when you will be able to vote for your class Valedictorian and Commencement student speaker
Tuesday, May 10
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm | Gelato Truck to Celebrate Franklin Students
Sponsored by the Office of Student Life, will be held at the North Campus (near the fountain).

Wednesday, May 11
5:30 pm - 7:00 pm | Graduating Student Toast
A toast of congratulations to all graduating students, sponsored by the Office of Student Life
Location: President’s Lawn (Rain Site: Holman Hall, Kaletsch Conference Room, Classroom 1)

Thursday, 12 May
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm | Commencement Rehearsal
Commencement Rehearsal in the FUS auditorium. In addition to the actual rehearsal, you will also collect your graduation cap and gown, and have a class photo taken! All graduating Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students are required to attend!
6:00 pm - 7:35 pm | Alumni Council sponsored Graduates Boat Cruise
Boarding 6:00 - 6:10 pm, Arrival 7:35 pm, Lake Lugano, Registration information sent to the student's @fus.edu email account. Email the Office of Advancement with any questions. Advance registration is required to attend. Space is limited.
Friday, 13 May
6:00 pm | Graduating Student and Family Send-Off Dinner
The dinner for graduating Franklin students and their family members will be held in the evening of Friday, May 13, 2022 on the beautiful Monte San Salvatore. This event sells out quickly, so please reserve your spot. Advance registration is required to attend. Find out more and register here.

3:00 pm (arrival time 2:00 pm) | Commencement Ceremony
Commencement Ceremony at the Palazzo Congressi, followed by a reception
Your families are warmly invited to come and celebrate with you. However, please keep in mind that plans for Commencement 2022 remain subject to change based on any COVID-19 developments.
