Just as we encourage students to become active and involved in their experience with Franklin, we extend the same invitation to parents and family members. There are plenty of ways that can become an active member of the Franklin community.

Franklin Family Association

The Franklin Family Association (FFA) was founded in 2009 by a group of current Franklin parents who were interested in becoming actively involved in the life of Franklin and its students. The mission of the Franklin Family Association is to “involve Franklin parents and guardians in programs and activities to enrich the lives of their students as well as contribute to the overall well-being of the University”.

The FFA is currently comprised of dedicated parents and family members. FFA Members are invited to join a bi-monthly conference call or webinar with the Director of Alumni and Parent Relations and other members of the Franklin staff to get updates about new and exciting things going on at the University, discuss challenges and solutions of having students studying overseas and participate in initiatives designed to help students in meeting their greater career and professional goals. For more information or to join, please email the Director of Alumni and Parent Relations.

FFA Members meet bi-monthly to discuss various topics about their student’s education at Franklin. All meetings are recorded and sent out to FFA Members.

Franklin Admissions Ambassador

Sharing your Franklin experience as an Admissions Ambassador is one of the best ways to help prospective students and their families appreciate and understand the value of a Franklin education. There are some ways in which you can help support Franklin’s admissions efforts, with varying levels of time commitment.

Career Mentor

The individual success of each one of Franklin’s graduates is the collective success of the Franklin community. Franklin’s Network is a career mentor platform made up of alumni volunteers that seek to bolster the collective success of the Franklin community by assisting alumni and current students as they prepare for professional life post-Franklin.

The Franklin University Switzerland community extends well beyond graduation. Each year a graduating class leaves the Franklin campus and the beautiful surroundings of the Ticino region. While those students may no longer be here on campus, we hope they remain active and involved in the future of the school. Involvement can be through sharing of their natural gifts or through philanthropic support.
