Minors

In addition to a major field of study, students may select courses within one discipline to form a minor.

A 2.0 average must be maintained in the minor. With the exception of a language minor, at least 12 credits in the minor must be taken at Franklin University. All 6 credits in a language minor above ITA/FRE/GER 301 must be taken at Franklin University Switzerland.

An official declaration of a minor is required and must be submitted to the Registrar after obtaining the signatures of both the student’s Academic Advisor and Department Head of the field of interest. The Registrar will provide the necessary form.

Note: Courses unique to the minor are counted as electives in the major requirements.
