I am originally from Lugoff, South Carolina and currently reside and work for Franklin in Newberry, South Carolina. I received my undergraduate degree in History from Newberry College and my M.A. in History from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. During graduate school I had an assistantship with the Academic Support Center, which helped me realize working in Higher Education was the career path I wanted to take. After graduate school I found my way back to my alma mater, where I worked in the admission office as a recruitment counselor and the Guest Experience Coordinator. After learning of Franklin and the type of educational opportunities it provides their students, I knew I had to be a part of that experience and was lucky enough to join Franklin in January of 2017.
